How Much Does a Pakleni Islands Trip from Hvar Cost?
Updated October 17, 2026 · 5 min read
The short answer. A trip to the Pakleni Islands from Hvar starts at €51 for a self-guided kayak and tops out at €200 per person for a brunch sailing day. Most travellers land on the comfort-yacht boat tour at €67.50 for four hours. If you want a full day for little more per hour, the Red Rocks sailboat tour at €150 is the one to look at.
Five prices side by side
| Trip | Duration | From | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pakleni Islands Self-Guided Kayaking Tour | not stated | €51 | 4.8 (221 reviews) |
| Boat Tour to Pakleni Islands on a Comfort Yacht | 4 hours | €67.50 | 4.8 (672 reviews) |
| Pakleni Islands Guided Kayak Tour with Snorkeling | 4.5 hours | €80 | 5.0 (9 reviews) |
| Pakleni Islands & Red Rocks Comfort Sailboat Tour | 8 hours | €150 | 4.9 (42 reviews) |
| Pakleni Islands Sailing Tour with Brunch | 7.5 hours | €200 | 5.0 (25 reviews) |
The €51 kayak is priced for one paddler, so a couple needs two. The others are priced per person.
What the money buys
Divide price by hours and the order changes. The yacht works out at about €17 an hour, the guided kayak at about €18, the Red Rocks sailboat at about €19 and the brunch sailing at about €27. So the eight-hour sailboat costs barely more per hour than the half-day yacht; you are mostly paying for more time.
The yacht description mentions snorkelling and paddle boarding in clear water. The sailboat description adds swimming and the Red Rocks, a named stop. The brunch boat is a traditional wooden vessel, and the description lists a homemade brunch of focaccia, wine, water and seasonal fruit. The brunch is the clearest difference from the €150 sailboat.
The kayak descriptions are leaner: a sit-on-top kayak, a map and instructions for the self-guided one; a guide, swimming and snorkelling in a bay for the guided one.

What the listed price does not tell you
The descriptions do not mention port fees, extra drinks, equipment charges or transfers, so do not assume any of them are included or excluded. Read the “included” list on the booking page for the date you want. Cancellation terms sit there too.
The cheapest option can cost more than it looks. With a kayak, a calm morning can turn into a harder paddle back when wind picks up, and nothing in the description says what happens then. Ask before you pay if you are not an experienced paddler.

Our recommendation
Book the comfort-yacht tour unless you have a reason not to: it has by far the most reviews of any Pakleni trip, costs €67.50 and still leaves half of the day free. Pay more only if you want a full day on the water, in which case the €150 sailboat is better value than the €200 brunch day unless you specifically want the brunch. Pick the kayak only if you already paddle confidently.
